The orchestra’s Musical Director is renowned conductor George Ellis.

The orchestra is currently seeking string players.
If you play violin, viola, cello or double bass and would like to play in our orchestra please contact us at info@rhhso.org.au or by submitting your audition form online at  www.rhhso.org.au/auditions
Applications will also be considered for Brass and woodwind players.

Next auditions commence on Tuesday 14 February at 7.15pm, in North Ryde

About us

The orchestra was formed in 2012 and and on 6 May 2012 performed its inaugural concert before a near capacity audience at the Bro Emilian Hall at St Josephs Hunters Hill. The concert featured works by Mirzoyan, Schubert, Christopher Gordon, Massenet and Khachaturian.

The orchestra has already presented four concerts in the 2013 program : most recently on 3 November at the Ryde Civic Centre Hall.

The orchestra also appeared in a fundraising event (supporting ROMAC) with Roger Woodward at The Concourse, Chatswood in November 2012.
